Wiper Has Low Speed Only

  1. Disconnect wiper motor wiring harness connector (C155). See Figure or Figure . Turn ignition to ACCY position. Turn wiper switch to HI. Connect test light between terminal No. 92 (Purple wire) and ground. If test light comes on, replace or repair motor. If test light does not come on, go to next step.
  2. Connect test light between terminal No. 92 (Purple wire) of switch connector C340 and ground. Turn ignition to ACCY position. Connect voltmeter between Purple wire of connector C340 and ground. If test light comes on, repair open circuit in Purple wire between wiper switch and wiper motor. If test light does not come on, repair or replace wiper switch.
