Windshield Washer Pump Inoperative (EXC Pulse Wiper System)

  1. Disconnect windshield washer pump wiring harness connector (C154). See Figure . Turn ignition to ACCY position. Turn washer switch on. Connect test light between windshield washer pump wiring harness connector (C154) terminal No. 94 (Pink wire) and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, go to step 3).
  2. Connect test light between windshield washer pump wiring harness connector (C154) terminal No. 94 (Pink wire) and terminal No. 150 (Black wire). If test light does not comes on, repair open circuit in Black wire to ground. If test light does come on, repair or replace windshield washer pump.
  3. Connect test light between wiper/washer switch connector (C340) terminal No. 94 (Pink wire) and terminal No. 150 (Black wire). Turn wiper switch to WASH. Turn ignition to ACCY position. If test light comes on, repair open circuit in Pink wire between wiper switch and windshield washer pump. If test light does not come on, replace wiper switch.
