Right Door Open Message

BCM supplies and monitors voltage on circuit 3C14. If voltage is sensed as being low (door ajar), BCM will display RIGHT DOOR OPEN message under the following conditions:

• PRNDD21 is okay (no Code B127 set)
• Engine is running
• Transmission in Park or Neutral
• Right door ajar switch input is low
• Vehicle speed over 5 MPH

Or if the following conditions exist:

• RIGHT DOOR OPEN message already set
• Right door ajar switch is closed

If system is to be tested, ensure that Code B334 is not set (ECM UART data line is okay).
