Hot - Stop Engine Message
ECM provides 5 volts to coolant temperature sensor circuit. ECM supplies and internally monitors voltage level of coolant temperature circuit at pin C10. If failure conditions for Flashing Coolant Gauge exist for more than 240 seconds, or calculated coolant temperature reaches 135°C and all other failure conditions have been met, BCM will cause temperature gauge bars to flash and send HOT - STOP ENGINE message to IPC and activate fast paced chime.
