Cruise Control Systems: Adjustment

NOTE: Adjustment procedures are not available for all models. On all adjustments, DO NOT stretch cable assembly to secure a particular tab hole. If cable is stretched, engine will not return to idle.

Throttle lever must be in idle position with engine off. Pull servo assembly end of cable toward servo blade. If hole in servo blade lines up with cable pin, install pin in that hole and install retainer. If hole does not align with pin, install pin in next hole away from servo assembly. DO NOT stretch cable.
