Diagnostic Aids

Code 61 is designed to indicate situations where the signal through low pressure/low fluid warning loop is not present. Code 61 DOES NOT set if low fluid or low pressure is detected. Normal cause of a Code 61 is a short to voltage of one of the loop circuits, or a shorted ABS diode, located under dash left of steering column.
