SERVICE INFORMATION
(Section No. 3)
Front suspension lead or pull may be caused by tire conicity. Section 3 of the Chassis Service Manual for front-wheel drive cars provides a chart for diagnosis of radial tire lead or pull.
The diagnosis advises to cross the front tires and road test the vehicle. If the vehicle is normal on a road test, no further action is required. If on a road test, the vehicle still exhibits a lead or pull in the same direction, or in the opposite direction, follow the diagnosis chart to determine if alignment correction or tire replacement is required.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
Labor Time Guide Operation E0100, Front End Lead/Tire Analysis (cross both front tires) has been released and is included in the February 1987 Labor Time Guide revision pages.
