Camshaft Signal

The ECM uses Terminal "E" to determine when No. 1 cylinder is on compression stroke. This signal starts the firing sequence and times fuel injector opening. Loss of camshaft signal will set a Trouble Code 41 if engine is running. Loss of signal during cranking will cause a no-start condition.
