Preliminary Checks

Prior to diagnosing the fuel injection system, the following systems and components must be in good condition and and operating properly:

• All support systems and wiring.
• Battery connections and specific gravity.
• Compression pressure.
• Fuel supply system pressure and flow.
• All electrical connections.
• Air filter.
• Vacuum lines, fuel hoses and pipe connections.
