Fuel Injectors

Fuel injectors are solenoid operated pintle valves and are controlled by the ECM. The ECM turns on the solenoid, allowing fuel to be injected in a conical pattern at the opening of the intake valve. Fuel not used by injectors passes through the pressure regulator and is returned to the fuel tank.
