Electric shift sensor |
The electric shift sensor transmits shift signals to the VCM, then the VCM transmits the P position signal and P/N position signal to the BCM. Refer to
Electric Shift Sensor
for detailed component location. |

Power switch |
Refer to Power Switch . |

BCM (Body Control Module) |
- The BCM controls the power distribution system.
- The BCM judges the power supply position by the power switch (push switch) and vehicle condition.
- The BCM checks the power supply position internally.
Refer to System Description . |

IPDM E/R (Intelligent Power Distribution Module Engine Room) |
- The IPDM E/R detects the power switch (push switch) status, and transmits the power switch (push switch) status signal (CAN) to the BCM.
- The IPDM E/R receives the ignition relay-1 control signal and the power switch ON signal (CAN) from the BCM, and controls the ignition relay-1.
Refer to System Description
for detailed component location. |
| 5. |
Stop lamp switch |
The stop lamp switch detects that the brake pedal is depressed, and transmits the signal to the BCM. Refer to
Stop Lamp Switch
for detailed component location. |

Accessory relay [Fuse block (J/B) ] |
- The accessory relay is controlled by the BCM.
- The accessory relay supplies the accessory power supply or the power switch ACC signal to each ECU when the power switch is placed to ACC or ON.
- The BCM compares the status of accessory relay control signal, and the power supply position judged by the BCM.
|
| Ignition relay-2 [Fuse block (J/B) ] |
- The ignition relay-2 is controlled by the BCM.
- The ignition relay-2 supplies the power switch ON power supply or the power switch ON signal to each ECU when the power switch is placed ON.
- The BCM compares the status of ignition relay-2 control signal and the power supply position judged by the BCM.
|
| Blower relay [Fuse block (J/B) ] |
- Blower relay is controlled by the BCM.
- Blower relay supplies ignition ON power supply or power switch ON signal to the air conditioning system when the power switch is placed ON.
- The BCM compares the status of blower relay control signal and power switch status judged by the power switch.
