Work Procedure

  1. WRITING MODE SELECTION 

    SYMBOL CONSULT Configuration. Select "Re/programming, Configuration" of "MULTI AV".

    When writing saved data>>

    GO TO 2.

    When writing manually>>

    GO TO 3.

  2. WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION 

    SYMBOL CONSULT Configuration. Select "Configuration" or "After Replace ECU", and write the vehicle specification saved in CONSULT to AV control unit.

    CAUTION:

    Do not perform any operation such as the navigation operation during configuration writing.

    GO TO 4.

  3. WRITE VEHICLE SPECIFICATION 

    SYMBOL CONSULT Configuration. Select "Manual Configuration", and write the setting value as shown in the following table to AV control unit according to the vehicle specification.

    CAUTION:

    Grasp vehicle specifications precisely. The control of ECU may not function normally if the specifications are misread.

    NOTE:
    • The items shown in this list depend on vehicle specifications.
    • The config list may not be displayed depending on vehicle specifications. This is not a malfunction.
    • If selection items are not displayed on the CONSULT screen, touch "NEXT".

    TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION WITH Models with traffic sign recognition system
    WITHOUT Models without traffic sign recognition system
    BCI OFF Models without Intelligent Back-up Intervention system
    ON Models with Intelligent Back-up Intervention system
    CAMERA SYSTEM NONE or AVM ph3 Models with around view monitor system
    REAR Models with rear view monitor system
    AUDIO AMP TYPE 160 W Models without BOSE system
    2ch Models with BOSE system

    GO TO 5.

  4. PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS 

    SYMBOL CONSULT Self Diagnostic Result. Perform self-diagnosis of CONSULT, and check whether or not DTC B1341-55 is detected.

    Is DTC B1341-55 detected?

    YES>>

    GO TO 3.

    NO>>

    GO TO 5.

  5. OPERATION CHECK 

    Check that the operation of the AV control unit and camera images (fixed guide lines and predictive course lines) are normal.

    GO TO 6

  6. CHECK NETWORK INITIAL SETTINGS 

    SYMBOL CONSULT Work Support. Select "Work Support" of "MULTI AV" and perform "Network initial settings".
