Removal and Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove steering angle sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Disconnect harness connector from combination switch.
  3. Remove the combination switch SYMBOL mounting screw SYMBOL .

  4. Pull out the combination switch SYMBOL by moving it alternately on the right and left side.
    CAUTION:

    CAUTION:  Never deformation and damage the pawls.

INSTALLATION 

Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

CAUTION: 

  • Never reuse combination switch. Always replace it with a new one when it is removed.
  • Visually check the pawls for deformation and damage during installation. Replace with new ones if necessary.
  • Insert the combination switch so that the protrusion SYMBOL of the combination switch SYMBOL and the cut-out SYMBOL of the steering column SYMBOL match together.
