Intelligent Trace Control

Perform the "Self Diagnostic Result" using CONSULT before the symptom diagnosis. Perform the trouble diagnosis if any DTC is detected. Refer to DTC Index .

Symptom		Possible cause	Inspection item
Intelligent trace control inoperative/ineffective	No intelligent trace control assist	Intelligent trace control selected OFF in the vehicle information display.	Change intelligent trace control selection in the vehicle information display to ON.
		VDC function is turned OFF.	Turn the VDC function ON.
		Brake system malfunction.	Repair brake system malfunction.
		Powertrain system malfunction.	Repair powertrain system malfunction.
		Certain roads, inclement weather or driving conditions.	System is functioning normally. Confirm the condition with the customer.
	Excessive lag on turns	Wheel alignment.	Repair alignment malfunction.
		Road wheel tire condition is abnormal. Road wheel tire size is abnormal.	Check the road wheel tire.
