Removal and Installation
CAUTION:
- Perform ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING ECM. Refer to Description .
- When replacing the ECM, a new ECM must be used. The functions controlled by the ECM do not operate properly if a ECM from another vehicle is used.
REMOVAL
- Remove battery. Refer to Removal and Installation (Battery) .
- Disconnect fuse and relay box bracket and move aside.
- Disconnect the harness connectors from the ECM.
- Remove nuts and ECM from ECM bracket.
- Remove nuts and ECM bracket (if necessary).
INSTALLATION
CAUTION:
Perform ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING ECM. Refer to Description .
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
