Removal and Installation: Installation

- Install distance sensor to distance sensor bracket upper to the specified torque in the sequence shown.
Distance sensor bolts
: 10 Nm (1.02 kg-m, 7.4 ft-lb)
- Connect engine room harness to distance sensor.
- Install distance sensor and distance sensor brackets on reinforcement bumper to the specified torque in the sequence shown.
Distance sensor bracket upper bolts
: 10 Nm (1.02 kg-m, 7.4 ft-lb)
- Install distance sensor brackets to radiator core support to the specified torque in the sequence shown.
Distance sensor bracket upper bolts
: 10 Nm (1.02 kg-m, 7.4 ft-lb)
- Installation of the remaining components is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- Always perform distance sensor alignment and check operation after removal, installation or replacement of distance sensor. Refer to Distance Sensor Adjustment .
- Do not drop or shock distance sensor.
- Make sure distance sensor harness is installed without any twists.
