Function

1.

BCM

• BCM controls remote engine start relay according to remote engine start signal.
• For detailed installation location. Refer to Component Parts Location .

2.

Shift lock solenoid

It operates according to the signal from the stop lamp switch and moves the lock lever.

3.

Park position switch

It detects that the selector lever is in "P" position.

4.

Remote start relay

(If equipped)

Allows BCM to be ready to operate shift lock solenoid.

5.

Stop lamp switch

• The stop lamp switch turns ON when the brake pedal is depressed.
• When the stop lamp switch turns ON, the shift lock solenoid is energized.
