Component Inspection

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect EPS motor harness connector.
3. Check resistance between EPS motor connector terminals.

   EPS motor		Resistance (Approx.)
   Terminal
   19	20	0.1 Ω or less

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Inspection End.

NO

EPS motor is malfunctioning. Replace steering column assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation .
