Removal & Installation: Removal

NOTE: The EVAP canister vent control valve and EVAP control system pressure sensor can be removed without removing the EVAP canister.
  1. Remove the center exhaust tube. Refer to Exploded View (KR20DDET) or Exploded View (PR25DD).
  2. For vehicles without electric parking brake, disconnect the retainers for the rear parking brake cable and reposition.
  3. Remove the fuel tank protector. Refer to Exploded View .
  4. Disconnect the harness connector from the EVAP control system pressure sensor.
  5. Remove EVAP control system pressure sensor and O-ring.
    CAUTION: Do not reuse O-ring when installing new EVAP control system pressure sensor. The EVAP control system pressure sensor and O-ring are serviced as an assembly.
