Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram .

1. CHECK CONTINUITY CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN 
   1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect display control unit harness connector M199 and around view monitor control unit harness connector M96.
   3. Check continuity between display control unit harness connector M199 and around view monitor control unit harness connector M96.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES

   GO TO 2 .

   NO

   Repair harness or connector.

2. CHECK CONTINUITY CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT 

   Check continuity between display control unit harness connector M199 and ground.

   M199	48		No

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES

   GO TO 3 .

   NO

   Repair harness or connector.

3. CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL 
   1. Connect display control unit harness connector M199 and around view monitor control unit harness connector M96.
   2. Turn ignition switch ON.
   3. Check signal between display control unit harness connector M199 and ground.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES

   Replace display control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

   NO

   Replace around view monitor control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .
