Work Procedure

SAVING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION
With CONSULT
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select "MULTI AV" of "Re/programming, Configuration" with CONSULT.
3. Select "Before ECU Replacement" of "Read / Write Configuration", and save or print the current vehicle specification. Refer to Description .
  NOTE: If "Before ECU Replacement" of "Read / Write Configuration" cannot be used, use the "Manual Configuration" after replacing display control unit to write vehicle specification.
GO TO STEP 2 .
REPLACE DISPLAY CONTROL UNIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Replace display control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .
GO TO STEP 3 .
WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION
CONSULT Configuration
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select "MULTI AV" of "Re/programming, Configuration" with CONSULT.
3. Select "After ECU Replacement" of "Read / Write Configuration", and write the vehicle specification into the display control unit. Refer to Description .
GO TO STEP 4 .
OPERATION CHECK
Confirm that display control unit operates normally.
