Disassembly And Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Disconnect fuel level sensor unit harness connector.
    NOTE:

    Hold connector with your fingers, because there is no tab for releasing stopper. Pull it out straight downward.

  2. Press in the pawl of fuel level sensor mounting surface.
    CAUTION:

    Be careful not to damage anything.

  3. With the pawl disengaged, remove fuel level sensor by sliding it down.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage fuel level sensor unit.
    • Do not disassemble fuel filter and fuel pump assembly.
