Component Inspection [CVT Shift Selector (Park Position Switch)]

CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR (DETENTION SWITCH)

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect CVT shift selector connector.

Check continuity between CVT shift selector (park position switch) terminals.

7	8	Selector lever: P position	Selector button: Released	No
		Selector lever: P position	Selector button: Pressed	Yes
		Selector lever: Other than P position		Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Inspection End.

Replace CVT shift selector. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
