Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and harness side).
- Harness connector M84
- Harness connector B101
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- Around view monitor control unit
- Harness connectors M84 and B101
- Check the continuity between the around view monitor control unit harness connector and the harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair the main line between the around view monitor control unit and the harness connector M84.
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the harness connectors B464 and B142.
- Check the continuity between the harness connectors.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES (Present error)
Check CAN system type decision again.
YES (Past error)
Error was detected in the main line between the around view monitor control unit and the side radar RH.
NO
Repair the main line between the harness connector B101 and B142.
