Maintenance Service Reminder Reset - Procedure 07
NOTE:
This procedure is for the Vehicle Information Display (center of the instrument cluster).
Maintenance intervals shown in the Vehicle Information Display are reset using the Trip Computer switches. See Fig 1. The maintenance mode allows you to set alerts for the reminding of maintenance intervals. To change an item:
- Press the MENU (3) button. See Fig 1.
- Use the ARROW (1) buttons until SETTINGS is selected, and press ENTER (1) (or OK).
- Select MAINTENANCE using the ARROW (1) buttons and press ENTER (1) (or OK).
- Adjust or reset the items listed below.
- Oil and Filter (on some models, Service): Select this menu to adjust the distance until next engine oil and filter change, or reset the automatic reminder.
- Tire: Select this menu to adjust the distance until tires need replacing, or reset the automatic reminder.
- Other: Select this menu to adjust or reset items other than the engine oil, oil filter and tires. Other maintenance items can include such things as air filter or tire rotation.
To return to previous menu, use BACK button (2).
