Component Function Check

With CONSULT

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Perform "COOLING FAN" in "ACTIVE TEST" mode of "ENGINE" using CONSULT.
3. Touch "LOW" and "HI" on the CONSULT screen.
4. Check that cooling fan operates.

Without CONSULT

1. Activate IPDM E/R auto active test and check cooling fan motor operation. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS DESCRIPTION ".
2. Check that cooling fan operates.

   Is the inspection result normal? 

   YES: INSPECTION END

   NO-1 (passenger van models): Proceed to "TYPE 1: DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".

   NO-2 (except passenger van models): Proceed to "TYPE 2: DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
