Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK DTC WITH "ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT"
Check "Self-diagnosis result" using CONSULT. Refer to "DTC INDEX ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 2.
NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR POWER SUPPLY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect CVT shift selector (detention switch) connector.
- Check voltage between CVT shift selector (detention switch) harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Voltage (V) (Approx.) CVT shift selector (detention switch) Connector Terminal M58 7 Ground Battery voltage Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4.
NO >> GO TO 3.
- CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between CVT shift selector (detention switch) harness connector and BCM harness connector.
CVT shift selector (detention switch) BCM Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M58 7 M71 104 Existed - Check continuity between CVT shift selector (detention switch) harness connector and ground.
CVT shift selector (detention switch) Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M58 7 Not existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace BCM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector and IPDM E/R connector.
- Check continuity between CVT shift selector (detention switch) harness connector and BCM harness connector.
CVT shift selector (detention switch) BCM Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M58 8 M68 37 Existed - Check continuity between CVT shift selector (detention switch) harness connector and ground.
CVT shift selector (detention switch) Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M58 8 Not existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 5.
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR (DETENTION SWITCH)
Refer to "COMPONENT INSPECTION ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 6.
NO >> Replace CVT shift selector. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
