Control Valve Assembly: Assembly
- Install control valve upper, inter and lower body.
- Place oil circuit of control valve upper body face up. Install steel balls in their proper positions.
- Install reamer bolts f
from bottom of control valve upper body. Using reamer bolts as guides, install separating plate as a set.CAUTION: Do not reuse separating plate.
- Install pilot filter.
- Place control valve inter body as shown in illustration (side of control valve lower body face up). Install steel balls in their proper positions.
- Install control valve inter body on control valve upper body using reamer bolts f
as guides.CAUTION: Be careful not to dislocate or drop steel balls.
- Install check balls and oil cooler relief valve springs in their proper positions in control valve lower body.
- Install bolts e
from bottom of control valve lower body. Using bolts e
as guides, install separating plate as a set.CAUTION: Do not reuse separating plate.
- Install support plates on control valve lower body.
- Install control valve lower body on control valve inter body using reamer bolts f as guides and tighten reamer bolts f slightly.
- Install O-rings on solenoid valves and terminal body.CAUTION:
- Do not reuse O-rings.
- Apply ATF to O-rings.
- Install and tighten bolts.

- Install solenoid valve assembly and line pressure solenoid valve on control valve assembly.

- Set oil strainer, then tighten bolts a, d
and nut f
to specified torque.
Torque Specifications : 7.8 N.m (0.80 kg-m, 69 in-lb)
- Tighten bolts e
to specified torque.
Torque Specifications : 4.0 N.m (0.41 kg-m, 35 in-lb)
- Install and tighten bolts b and nut f to specified torque.
