Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULT 

    With CONSULT-II 

    1. Turn ignition switch "ON". (Do not start engine.)
    2. Select "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" mode for "ABS" with CONSULT-II.
    3. Touch "ERASE".
    4. Turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 10 seconds.
    5. Check the self-diagnostic results.

    G-SENSOR

    Is above displayed in the self-diagnosis display? 

    YES: GO TO 2.

    NO: INSPECTION END

  2. CHECK G SENSOR 

    Use "Data Monitor" to check if the G sensor are normal.

    VEHICLE STATUS CHART

    Vehicle status G sensor (Data monitor standard)
    When stopped -0.11 G to + 0.11 G
    Speed up Negative value

    OK or NG 

    OK: INSPECTION END 

    NG: Replace ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) and then perform ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) self-diagnosis again.
