Present Fault Messages: Notes

Repair procedures must be followed one step at a time, pausing between each step to check for fault message. If no fault message is displayed, repair is complete and no further testing is required. After repair is completed, air bag system memory must be cleared. See CLEARING CODES under DIAGNOSTICS. This procedure must be followed exactly to avoid mis-diagnosis and unnecessary replacement of properly functioning components.
