Removal & Installation: Starter

- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove engine undercover.
- Disconnect "S" connector.
- Remove "B" terminal nut.
- Remove starter motor mounting bolt and nut. See Fig 1.
- Remove engine mount insulator bottom nuts, and lift up engine approximately 1.2 in. (30 mm) using transmission jack.
- Remove starter motor from under vehicle.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
