Front Stabilizer Bar: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Secure the stabilizer link LH with a vise.
    2. Install the nut to the stud bolt.
    3. Flip the ball joint back and forth 5 times or more.
    4. Use a torque wrench to turn the nut continuously at a rate of 3 to 5 seconds per turn. Take the torque reading on the fifth turn.

      Torque: Standard turning torque 

      1.0 N*m (10 kgf*cm, 8.9 in.*lbf) or less 

    5. Check the dust boots for cracks or grease leakage. If the value is not within the specified range, replace the stabilizer link with a new one.
