Rear Axle Hub Bolt: Replacement

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- DISCONNECT REAR WHEEL
- REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the rear disc brake cylinder assembly (See REMOVAL ).
- REMOVE REAR DISC
- REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB BOLT
- Temporarily install the 2 nuts to the hub bolts as shown in the illustration.
- Using SST and a brass bar or equivalent to hold the axle shaft, and remove the hub bolt.
SST 09628-10011
- INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB BOLT
- Install a plate washer and nut to a new hub bolt, as shown in the illustration.
- Using a brass bar or equivalent to hold the axle shaft, and install the hub bolt by torquing the nut.
- Remove the 2 nuts from the hub bolts.
- INSTALL REAR DISC
- INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
- Install the rear disc brake cylinder assembly (See INSTALLATION ).
- INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft.lbf)
