Sliding Door Motor System Inspection

  1. SLIDING DOOR MOTOR SIGNAL INSPECTION 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Operate the sliding door fully open --> fully closed and check voltage between sliding door control unit connector B501 (LH) or B401 (RH) terminals 33, 36 and ground.
      TERMINALS VOLTAGE REFERENCE

      Terminal Measuring condition Voltage (V) (Approx.)
      ( + ) ( - )
      33 Ground Fully open --> half --> fully closed 0
      36 0 --> Battery voltage --> 0

    OK or NG 

    OK: GO TO 2.

    NG: Replace sliding door control unit.

  2. SLIDING DOOR MOTOR OPERATION INSPECTION 

    Connect battery power to terminals 33 and 36 on the sliding door control unit connector B501 (LH) or B401 (RH) and check motor operation.

    33 (+) - 36 (-): It operates. 

    33 (-) - 36 (+): It operates. (Reverse rotation) 

    OK or NG 

    OK: Motor is OK.

    NG: Replace the sliding door motor. Refer to "SLIDE DOOR LOCK ".
