Lower Control Arm: Installation

Using Special Tool (09613-26010, 09950-60010 - 09951-00650) and a press, install bushing. See Fig 1. For Special Tool (09613-26010), use 2 thicker half-rings as a pair. Index tab of new bushing should be at a right angle (plus or minus 5 degrees) to center of bracket, and facing downwards when seen from outside vehicle. See Fig 2.
To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Check wheel alignment. See appropriate SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
