Checking Bulbs

Apply parking brake and turn the ignition key to "ON" without starting the engine. The oil, battery, brake, A/T oil temperature, "4WD", and service engine soon lights will come on. The air bag, "ABS", "O/D OFF", "4WD" shift indicator and "4LO" lights will come on briefly, then go out. If any light fails to come on, it may indicate a burned out bulb or an open circuit in the electrical system.
