Low Oil Pressure Switch

NOTE:
Oil pressure should be over 3.55 psi (0.25 kgs/cm2
, 24.5 kPa).
- Disconnect the connector from the switch.
- Check that continuity exists between terminal and ground with the engine stopped. See Fig 1.
- Check that no continuity exists between terminal and ground with the engine running.
- If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
- If replacing switch, apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the new oil pressure switch before installing and torque to 9 ft.lbs. (13 N.m).
