Audio Steering Wheel Switch Inspection

CHECK A/C AND AV SWITCH SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION
1. Start A/C and AV switch self-diagnosis function. Refer to "A/C AND AV SWITCH SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION ".
2. Operate audio steering wheel switch.
Does audio steering wheel switch operate normally?
1. YES : INSPECTION END
2. NO : GO TO 2.
CHECK HARNESS
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect A/C and AV switch connector and spiral cable connector.
3. Check continuity between spiral cable harness connector terminals and A/C and AV switch harness connector terminals.

4. Check continuity between A/C and AV switch and ground.

OK or NG
1. OK : GO TO 3.
2. NG : Repair harness or connector.
CHECK SPIRAL CABLE
1. Disconnect spiral cable connector (Audio steering wheel switch harness side).
2. Check continuity between spiral cable connector terminal 24, 31, 32 and terminal 20, 17, 16.

OK or NG
1. OK : GO TO 4.
2. NG : Replace spiral cable.
CHECK AUDIO STEERING WHEEL SWITCH RESISTANCE
Check resistance audio steering wheel switch terminals.

OK or NG
1. OK : INSPECTION END
2. NG : Replace audio steering wheel switch.
