BCM Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check

- CHECK FUSE
- Check 10A fuse [No. 1, located in fuse block (J/B)[
- Check 50A fusible link (letter F located in the fuse and fusible link box)
NOTE: Refer to COMPONENT PARTS AND HARNESS CONNECTOR LOCATION .OK or NG
- OK : GO TO 2.
- NG : If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to POWER DISTRIBUTION .
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between BCM connector M35, E118 terminal 7, 35 and ground.
- 7 (W/B) - Ground : Battery voltage
- 35 (R) - Ground : Battery voltage
OK or NG
- OK : GO TO 3.
- NG : Check BCM power supply circuit for open or short.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between BCM connector E118 terminal 8 and ground.
- 8 (B) - Ground : Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
- OK : BCM power supply and ground circuit is OK.
- NG : Check BCM ground circuit for open or short.
