BCM Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check

  1. CHECK FUSE 
    • Check 10A fuse [No. 1, located in fuse block (J/B)[
    • Check 50A fusible link (letter located in the fuse and fusible link box)

    OK or NG

    1. OK : GO TO 2.
    2. NG : If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to POWER DISTRIBUTION .
  2. CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check voltage between BCM connector M35, E118 terminal 7, 35 and ground.
      1. 7 (W/B) - Ground : Battery voltage 
      2. 35 (R) - Ground : Battery voltage 

    OK or NG

    1. OK : GO TO 3.
    2. NG : Check BCM power supply circuit for open or short.

  3. CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect BCM connector.
    3. Check continuity between BCM connector E118 terminal 8 and ground.
      1. 8 (B) - Ground : Continuity should exist. 

    OK or NG

    1. OK : BCM power supply and ground circuit is OK.
    2. NG : Check BCM ground circuit for open or short.
