Check Front Door Key Cylinder Switch

Check Door Key Cylinder Switch Signal
With CONSULT-II

Check front door key cylinder switch ("KEY CYL LK-SW", "KEY CYL UN-SW") in DATA MONITOR mode in CONSULT-II. Refer to DATA MONITOR .
1. When key inserted in front key cylinder is turned to LOCK:
  KEY CYL LK-SW: ON
2. When key inserted in front key cylinder is turned to UNLOCK:
  KEY CYL UN-SW: ON
  
  Without CONSULT-II
  
  Check front door key cylinder switch operation in "SWITCH MONITOR" mode. Refer to SWITCH MONITOR .
  
  OK or NG
  1. OK: System is OK.
  2. NG: GO TO 2.
3. Check Door Key Cylinder Switch
  Check continuity between door key cylinder switch connector terminals.

  OK or NG
  1. OK: Check the following.
    - Harness between front key cylinder switch and driver door control unit
    - Harness between front key cylinder switch and ground
  2. NG: Replace front door key cylinder switch.
