Control Valve Assembly: Assembly

1. Position upper body with oil circuit facing up. Install steel balls in their proper positions.

2. Install reamer bolts from bottom of upper body.

3. Position lower body with oil circuit facing up. Install orifice check spring, orifice check valve.
   1. D : 2.0 mm (0.079 in)

4. Install separator plate on lower body.
5. Temporarily install support plates, side plate (with steel ball) and tube brackets.

6. Temporarily assemble lower and upper bodies, using reamer bolt as a guide.
   • Be careful not to dislocate or drop steel balls, orifice check spring and orifice check valve.

7. Install and temporarily tighten bolts and tube brackets in their proper locations.

1. Attach O-ring and install overdrive cancel solenoid valve and side plate onto lower body.

2. Attach O-ring and install torque converter clutch solenoid valve onto upper body.
