DTC Confirmation Test

  1. Turn ignition on.
  2. Fully depress brake pedal for at least 5 seconds.
  3. Erase DTC with scan tool.
  4. Select DATA MONITOR mode with scan tool.
  5. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
