DTC Confirmation Test (Procedure For Malfunction A)

NOTE: If DTC confirmation test has been previously performed, always turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before performing next DTC confirmation test.
NOTE: Perform DTC CONFIRMATION TEST (PROCEDURE FOR MALFUNCTION A)  first. If the DTC cannot be confirmed, perform DTC CONFIRMATION TEST (PROCEDURE FOR MALFUNCTION B) . If there is no problem on DTC CONFIRMATION TEST (PROCEDURE FOR MALFUNCTION B), perform DTC CONFIRMATION TEST (PROCEDURE FOR MALFUNCTION C) .

Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR mode with scan tool. If DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
