The Smart Entrance Control Unit (SECU) is in total control of the following body electrical system operations.

• Heated steering.
• Headlight system.

• Rear defogger and door mirror defogger. See REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER - MAXIMA article.
• Power door lock. See POWER DOOR LOCKS - MAXIMA article.

• Interior lamp.

In addition, the following timer operations are controlled by the Smart Entrance Control Unit (SECU).

• Battery saver control.
• Retained power control.
