Electrical Component Locator: Switches

SWITCHES LOCATION

Component	Component Location
Ambient Air Temperature Switch	At center front of engine compartment.
ASCD Brake Switch	On bracket, above brake pedal.
ASCD Clutch Switch	On bracket, above clutch pedal.
Back-Up Light Switch	On lower right side of transmission.
Brake Fluid Level Switch	In brake fluid reservoir.
Clutch Interlock Switch	On bracket, above clutch pedal.
Dual Pressure Switch	At right front of engine compartment, on A/C liquid tank.
Hood Switch	At left side of engine compartment, near air intake box.
Oil Pressure Switch (2.4L VIN D)	On right side of engine, near oil filter.
Oil Pressure Switch (3.3L VIN E)	On lower left front of engine, near oil filter.
Oil Pressure Switch (3.3L VIN M)	On lower left front of engine, near oil filter.
Parking Brake Switch	On base of parking brake lever.
Park/Neutral Position Switch	On right side of transmission.
Power Steering Oil Pressure Switch (2.4L VIN D)	Near right front side of engine, on power steering high pressure tube.
Power Steering Oil Pressure Switch (3.3L VIN E)	Near right front side of engine, on power steering high pressure tube. See Figure .
Power Steering Oil Pressure Switch (3.3L VIN M)	Near right front side of engine, on power steering high pressure tube. See Figure .
Pressure Switch	At left rear corner of engine compartment.
Seat Belt Buckle Switch (Left/Right)	In respective front seat belt buckle.
Shift Lock Switch	On bracket, above brake pedal.
Stoplight Switch	On bracket, above brake pedal.
Throttle Position Switch (2.4L VIN D)	On throttle body. See Figure .
Throttle Position Switch (3.3L VIN E)	On throttle body. See Figure .
Throttle Position Switch (3.3L VIN M)	On throttle body. See Figure .
Transfer Neutral Position Switch	On right front side of transfer case.
Washer Fluid Level Switch	At left front corner of engine compartment, on washer reservoir.
4WD Switch	On right rear side of transfer case.
