Side Air Bag Module

NOTE:
If side air bag module has deployed, seat back assembly must be replaced. Removal procedure is for deployment only.
Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Remove appropriate front seat. Remove seat back board and seat cushion trim. Remove seat back trim and pad. Remove air bag module harness clips. Remove nuts securing side air module to seat back frame. See Fig 1 . Remove side air bag module.
