Side Air Bag Module

NOTE:
Side air bag module is replaced as a unit with seat back and cannot be replaced separately. Removal instructions are provided to facilitate off-vehicle deployment only.
Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Remove applicable front seat. Using clip removal tool, remove seat back trim and pad. Remove side air bag module wire harness clips. Disconnect side air bag module connector. Remove 2 nuts securing side air bag module to seat back frame. See Fig 1 . Remove side air bag module.
