Front Wiper Stop Position Is Incorrect

CHECK FRONT WIPER MOTOR AUTO STOP SIGNAL
Select "BCM" on CONSULT-II. With "WIPER" data monitor, make sure "FR WIPER STOP" turns ON-OFF according to wiper operation.

When font wiper switch is OFF position: FR WIPER STOP ON

OK or NG
1. OK: Replace IPDM E/R.
2. NG: GO TO 2.
CHECK FRONT WIPER MOTOR CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect IPDM E/R connector and front wiper motor connector.
3. Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector E8 terminal 38 (L/Y) and front wiper motor harness connector E22 terminal 4 (L/Y).

  Continuity should exist.
  
  OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 3.
2. NG: Repair harness or connector.
CHECK FRONT WIPER MOTOR GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between front wiper motor harness connector E22 terminal 1 (B) and ground.

Continuity should exist.

OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 4.
2. NG: Repair harness or connector.
CHECK FRONT WIPER MOTOR CIRCUIT (SHORT CIRCUIT)
Check continuity between front wiper motor harness connector E22 terminal 4 (L/Y) and ground.

Continuity should not exist.

OK or NG
1. OK: GO TO 5.
2. NG: Repair harness or connector.
CHECK IPDM E/R OUTPUT SIGNAL
1. Connect IPDM E/R connector.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Check voltage between front wiper motor harness connector E22 terminal 4 (L/Y) and ground.

  Battery voltage should exist.
  
  OK or NG
1. OK: Replace front wiper motor.
2. NG: Replace IPDM E/R.
