Front Wiper Stop Position Is Incorrect

- CHECK FRONT WIPER MOTOR AUTO STOP SIGNAL
Select "BCM" on CONSULT-II. With "WIPER" data monitor, make sure "FR WIPER STOP" turns ON-OFF according to wiper operation.
When font wiper switch is OFF position: FR WIPER STOP ON
OK or NG
- OK: Replace IPDM E/R.
- NG: GO TO 2.
- CHECK FRONT WIPER MOTOR CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect IPDM E/R connector and front wiper motor connector.
- Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector E8 terminal 38 (L/Y) and front wiper motor harness connector E22 terminal 4 (L/Y).
Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 3.
- NG: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK FRONT WIPER MOTOR GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between front wiper motor harness connector E22 terminal 1 (B) and ground.
Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 4.
- NG: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK FRONT WIPER MOTOR CIRCUIT (SHORT CIRCUIT)
Check continuity between front wiper motor harness connector E22 terminal 4 (L/Y) and ground.
Continuity should not exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 5.
- NG: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK IPDM E/R OUTPUT SIGNAL
- Connect IPDM E/R connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between front wiper motor harness connector E22 terminal 4 (L/Y) and ground.
Battery voltage should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: Replace front wiper motor.
- NG: Replace IPDM E/R.
