1. Cool Down Check

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Cool down the ambient air temperature sensor with water or ice, so that the indicated temperature drops.

Does the indicated temperature drop? 

YES >> GO TO 2

NO >> The system is malfunctioning. Check the system following "INSPECTION/COMPASS AND THERMOMETER". Refer to INSPECTION/COMPASS AND THERMOMETER .
