Description & Operation: Inputs

When the key switch is "ON", ignition key is inserted in the key cylinder, ground is supplied through key switch terminal No. 1, to Smart Entrance Control Unit (SECU) terminal No. 35.

When the left front door switch is "OPEN", ground is supplied to SECU terminal No. 34, through left front door switch terminal No. 2, through left front door switch body ground.

When the right front door switch is "OPEN", ground is supplied to SECU terminal No. 9, through right front door switch terminal No. 2, through right front door switch body ground.

When either of the sliding door switches are "OPEN", ground is supplied to SECU terminal No. 41, through sliding door switch terminal No. 1, through sliding door switch body ground.

When either back door latch switch is "OPEN", ground is supplied to SECU terminal No. 24, through back door latch switch terminal No. 1, through back door latch switch terminal No. 2, through body ground D204 (located behind right rear corner panel). Keyfob signal is input to the SECU, the antenna of the system is combined with SECU.

The remote keyless entry system controls operation of:

• Interior lamp.
• Panic alarm.

• Automatic drive positioner.
